ANALISIS BEBAN KERJA MENTAL PADA LOADING DOCK BONGKAR BARANG DI PT PLN (PERSERO) UP3 BANTEN SELATAN DENGAN METODE NASA-TLX DAN WORK SAMPLING

PT PLN (Persero) UP3 South Banten, part of PT PLN (Persero) which operates as a Network Service Unit
(UPJ) to serve low voltage networks, is facing problems related to work fatigue in the warehouse division.
Some workers experienced fatigue and back pain, indicating the need for an in-depth analysis of mental
workload and work utilization in the division. This research aims to measure mental workload using the
NASA-TLX method and the level of work utilization using the Work Sampling method. The research results
show that warehouse supervisors experience a high mental workload, especially in the aspects of Own
Performance (OP) and Effort (EF), with a total Weight Work Load (WWL) of 1215 and an average of 81.
Based on Work Sampling, the level of productivity workers ranged from 68.5% to 83%, with an average
Labor Utilization Factor (LUF) value of 84%. This value is higher than the average LUF for workers in
Indonesia, which reached 74.4%, and the average LUF in ASEAN, which was 78.2%. The warehouse
supervisor with the highest LUF value reached 89.8%. In addition, the average ratio of indirect employment
to direct employment of 22% is considered quite satisfactory. High workloads can have a negative impact
on worker performance and health, so evaluation is needed to maintain the health, safety and productivity
of warehouse supervisors.
